How It Works
Lessons at Home Connection is a Christian tutor-student matching service offering lessons by webcam, at the tutor’s location or at the student’s home. Tutors offer instruction in music, academics, test prep and more. Follow these simple steps to get started:
- Click on Find a Tutor to view the tutor(s) that you are interested in.
- After you view the tutor’s biography, location, and prices, click on the “Contact the Tutor” button if you are still interested.
- This will direct you to the Contact Tutor Form. Please fill it out and click submit.
- Lessons at Home Connection or the tutor will contact you regarding this inquiry. Once you have been approved by the tutor and you have scheduled your lesson dates and times, the tutor will give you his or her tutor password allowing you to buy lessons online (credit or debit card payments) or to pay by check or money order.
- If you are paying for lessons by credit or debit card, you must use PayPal. You must create a free, secure PayPal account to pay through PayPal. Once you have paid through PayPal you can start your lessons right away.
- If you are paying for lessons by check or money order, please make the checks and money orders payable to Lessons at Home Connection and make sure that you include the tutor password on the check or money order. Please note that no tutoring can take place until your check clears.
- Once you receive your password, click the "Buy Lessons" tab above.
- Enter student's full name, your e-mail address, and the tutor password.
- Select the subject that you want to purchase.
- Find and click your preferred lesson plan.
- If you are satisfied with your payment, click "Buy Now". You will be directed to PayPal to purchase lessons.
- You will receive a confirmation for your payment.
